Making a safe place for our youth to ride since 1993.
Herman Miller 4-H Park
In 1993, Herman Miller donated a 30-acre parcel to the Whatcom County Youth Horse program. First it was all woods. With 100’s of volunteers and 1000’s of hours, and $10,000 upon $10,000’s of donated financial support. The Herman Miller Park now consists of 20 acres of trails, huge sand outdoor arena, large parking lot and a beautiful building to hold meetings and other events. HMP is located at 1385 East Hemmi Rd. Between the Hannegan and Noon Rd.
The park clean-up every spring is typically done by the 4-H clubs.
HMP has always been used and available for Horse 4-H clubs to use for club rides, individual riding, judging classes, leader’s meetings, 4-H club meeting and events.
HMP is dedicated to being available to Whatcom County’s enrolled horse 4-h members, clubs, leaders and families.
Being involved is one of the best things you can do.
When you serve our youth, it leaves you feeling whole.
