Making a safe place for our youth to ride since 1993.
Herman Miller 4-H Park
In 1993, Herman Miller donated a 30-acre parcel, entirely covered in woods, to the Whatcom County Youth Horse Program. Through the dedication of hundreds of volunteers, thousands of hours of work, and generous financial contributions totaling tens of thousands of dollars, Herman Miller 4H Park has transformed into a vibrant community resource. The park now features 20 acres of scenic trails, a large sand outdoor arena, an expansive parking lot, and a beautiful building for meetings and events. Located at 1385 East Hemmi Road, between Hannegan and Noon Road, the park serves as a hub for local youth activities.
Each spring, 4-H clubs lead the park’s cleanup efforts, maintaining its pristine condition. Herman Miller 4H Park is a dedicated space for Whatcom County’s enrolled 4-H horse members, clubs, leaders, and families, offering facilities for club rides, individual riding, judging classes, leader meetings, and various 4-H club events. The park remains committed to supporting the youth horse program and fostering community engagement.
